Today, Kensington Palace released the two further portraits that were taken to mark the first birthday of His Royal Highness, Prince George of Cambridge.
In the first of these two portraits we see the family looking at the exhibit, watching the butterflies and little George is reaching for one. Some have said it looks as if the family is looking to the future, and if so I’d say it’s looking bright.
And in the final portrait to be released we see the family seated, a butterfly perched on Prince William’s hand as George tries to touch it. (Oh I do hope he was gentle) I think this photo is just lovely…and did you notice the puddle of drool on Kate’s Dress…every mom has this happen, even royalty.
All three photographs were taken by PA staff photographer, John Stillwell, when Prince George visited the “Sensational Butterflies” exhibition at the Natural History Museum with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge earlier this month. The Duchess of Cambridge is Patron of the Natural History Museum.
